About The SDC

The Student-run Datacenter (SDC) is a private cloud maintained and developed by students at Cal Poly Pomona. The SDC is made possible due to industry partnerships with Avanade, Chef, Microsoft and Juniper. The SDC empowers students via the polytechnic methodology which emphasizes a learn by doing approach, thus granting students real-world experience implementing and working with cloud solutions.

Our Mission

"To give Cal Poly Pomona students an opportunity for real world experience running a data center."
